According to Turkish football sites, Tucofoot and Turkish-Football, Santos’ top goal scorer, Borges, is on the verge of signing for Fenerbahçe having already agreed personal terms with the club.
The Turkish giants have reportedly offered Santos around €3-4 million for the striker and an agreement is expected to be reached in the next few days.
Borges’ current deal at Santos runs until December 2012 and so far the Paulista club have yet to offer the 31-year old a contract extension.
