After the departure of Bruno Cortês to São Paulo, Botafogo have announced the signing of Andrezinho from Internacional.
The club released a statement on their official website confirming that a three-year-deal had been agreed and that they would unveil the midfielder at press conference on Tuesday.
Andrezinho told the clubs official website that he was touched with the affection he’s received from the Alvinegro supporters despite once playing for their local rivals, Flamengo.
”The motivation is huge because of the trust Botafogo have put in to me and the reception I’ve received. At the airport, I met fans that were excited and confident, which gives me even more desire to play. It’s an old crush and it’s now fortunately materialized. It’s a pleasure to play for a club which has so many idols. I am very excited and anxious to defend Botafogo.”
