The Carioca giants want to take full control over the player’s economic rights and have submitted a proposal to the Saudi Arabian club to purchase the 90% stake that they currently own.
In an interview with Rádio Tupi, Flamengo’s vice president of finance’s, Michel Levy, confirmed that the club have already reached an agreement with Thiago Neves and are hoping for a positive response from Al-Hilal so they can finally seal the deal.
”We have agreed a four year contract with the player. The proposal (to Al-Hilal) is already on the table. We now await a positive outcome.”
