The former São Paulo full-back has hardly featured for the Italian club so far this season, making just four appearances and was once again an un-used substitute in Roma’s 1-1 draw against Juventus on Monday night.

In an interview with Globoesporte, the former Brazilian international admitted he wants to leave the Italian club in the January transfer window and will inform the board at the end of December.

”It’s true that I want to leave Roma. I have not spoken with the board yet because I’m going to wait for the last two games of the calendar year to talk to them.”

”I don’t know if I will return to Brazil yet, but I’ve had enough (at Roma). A lot of things have happened. The coach decided to play a player out of position instead of playing me. I’m done here,” said the thirty one year old.

Flamengo and Corinthians are believed to be interested in bringing Cicinho back to Brazil, but the player claims he’s not received an offer from either side yet.

”I’ve heard about the interest of Flamengo and Corinthians through the press, but my agent has not said anything to me about it.”
