Talking at press conference for the launch of his new documentary, ‘Pra sempre Fenomeno,’ the three times world player of the year made a bold prediction that Vasco will drop points against Fluminense on Sunday and believes Corinthians will take all three points off Figueirense to claim the Brasileirao crown.
”I think Corinthians will be the champions, of course.” said Ronaldo. ”They have to go for the win on Sunday. We cant count on what will happen in the last round. I’m sure that Vasco have a tough game against Fluminense and I think that game will end up as a draw. Then, if we beat Figueirense, we will be champions.”
Ronaldo was also asked about what he thought of Adriano’s last minute goal in Corinthians’ 2-1 win against Atletico Mineiro last Sunday.
”In my opinion, Adriano’s goal was just a taste of whats to come from him. He’s really talented and be a decisive player for Corinthians, for the Selecao or any other team. I talk to him about it too. All he has to do is want it. Adriano is a great man, a great striker and a great person.”
