The twenty three year old has been one of the stand out names in this years Campeonato Brasileiro and his performances have caught the eye of European giants, Juventus and Benfica, who are reportedly hoping to sign the Brazilian international in the January transfer window.
Speaking to Globo Esporte, Dede confirmed, ”my dream is to continue with Vasco. Hopefully the president can make something happen that will help the club and help me.”
Dede has become a fans favourite amongst the Vasco fans, and the defender believes his rich vain of form is all down to help of his team mates.
”I’m standing out thanks to the group. Things are flowing smoothly. Now it’s time to keep working hard and to keep improving. I’m working hard and gaining more confidence. The fans are seeing this and really support me,” said the defender.
