This year’s Libertadores Cup is drawing to a close; the second leg of the two part quarter-finals will be played over the next three days.

Five Brazilians teams made it past the group stage; Santos, São Paulo, Flamengo, Paraná and Grêmio all qualified for the quarter finals while Internacional missed out finishing third in Group 4 behind Vélez Sarsfield (Argentina) and Nacional (Uruguay).

São Paulo are the only Brazilian team who will enter the second leg of their quarter final in the lead, having beaten Grêmio 1-0 at home last week. Paraná Clube were beaten 2-1 at home by Libertad (Paraguay), Flamengo lost their away tie against Defensor (Uruguay) 3-0 while Santos drew 2-2 with Caracas in the Venezuelan capital.
