Jose Mourinho dismissed any fears over the injuries to Diego Costa and Oscar and insisted they could have played against Leicester if he needed them.

Diego Costa has been nursing a hamstring injury while Oscar was feared to have suffered concussion in the game against Arsenal on Sunday.

“We didn’t need to risk it. If we had lost against Arsenal I would go with them against Leicester because they are both there.”

Mourinho even revealed how Oscar was close to being introduce when Leicester were winning.

“He was ready to play when we were losing 1-0. But once we were winning I didn’t need to play Oscar. He is fine.”
