Inter Milan have the capabilities to resuscitate their ailing campaign, according to their central defender Juan Jesus.

The 22 year-old, who moved to the Italian giants in 2012 from Internacional, told goal.com that their current fifth spot belies a squad with alot more to offer in the second half of the season.

“We have been a bit unlucky, but we will find a way to get back to winning ways.”

“We’re doing and trying everything. We put in a great performance (in the 1-1 draw with Chievo), we had a lot of chances in the first half. We need to keep going down this track.”

Jesus has gained four caps for the national team but is not thought to be in contention for this year’s World Cup, largely on account of his club team struggling in recent times. Indeed, since Inter Milan won the Champions League in 2010, they have failed to recapture anything like the level of consistency attained in that treble year.
