On September 6, the Seleção head to Cairo to take on African champions Egypt. They then face Argentina on September 14 and 18, with both sides only able to select players from their domestic leagues.

Mano Menezes’ side then visit Costa Rica on October 7, before a trip to play Mexico four days later on the 11th. In November, they will play away to Gabon on 11th, and then against either England or Switzerland on the 15th.

The proposed games against Italy and Spain have been pushed back to 2012, possibly to allow Menezes to get some more wins under his belt. Brazil are yet to beat a top side under his leadership, having lost to Argentina, France and most recently Germany.
