Luiz Araújo made his debut in the São Paulo first team in 2016 where he scored nine goals during his stay before leaving for France in exchange for a little more than 10 million euros. At Lille he played 136 games where he was able to score 18 goals. In 2021 he arrived at Atalanta United where he has a good passage but the opportunity to reach a great from the continent like Flamengo was more important.
