Rivaldo sees Romário’s return to the field in a positive light

Invited by Betfair to comment on the main news in Brazilian football, Rivaldo projected Romário’s return to the pitch. The former player and current ambassador of the betting house recalled when he played with his son Rivaldinho at Mogi Mirim.

“I think it’s really cool on Romário’s part to return to the field to play with his son. It was very important for me when I did that, and I think for him to fulfill a dream of his and his son’s. It’s something that’s very special for a father to play with his son. I had the chance to play with my son, and it was emotional. I think Romário is still in good shape and he’s slim, so there’s still room for a bit of fun. If the ball comes to his feet, he’ll definitely score,” said Rivaldo.
