In response to the team’s recent setbacks, Tite emphasized a back-to-basics approach to regain stability and confidence. “A step back is to work on fundamentals,” he explained, indicating a shift towards simplifying their play.

The match also marked the return of Gabigol, who had been out due to a suspension from a doping violation. Tite acknowledged the risk involved in playing him extensively after a long absence. “I was wrong to have put him so long in the game,” he admitted, but justified his decision based on the game’s demands.
“He hadn’t been training normally, but the needs of the game called for a player of his stature,” Tite added, expressing his thanks to the striker for stepping up when needed.
Looking forward, Flamengo faces Bragantino next in the Brazilian Championship without several key players due to injuries. Despite these challenges, Tite is optimistic about adapting the team’s tactics.
Tite also emphasized the importance of respecting the fans, especially during less successful periods. “When the team isn’t producing, I stay quiet.
