The forward Diogo Oliveira, from Coritiba, took part in an Easter event on Saturday afternoon (23), at Parque Alto do Rio Bonito, in the South Zone of São Paulo. The player contributed by donating Easter eggs to the “Winners – Generating Champions” Foundation.

The institution operates on a non-profit basis and serves around 330 young people and children from the communities of São Paulo. Anderson Castro, founder of Winners, praised the action and emphasized its importance for the region. A banner was made in gratitude to the Coxa player.

“Easter is not just about chocolate. It is a reason for reflection, to bring memories to children and families that not everything is just material goods but love, hope, and our mission is to bring this to the children. Generating champions along with partners, like Diogo Oliveira,” commented Anderson.

The location offers football classes for boys and girls, as well as martial arts and dance classes. The space is inspired by the holding company of the Five-Time World Champion, Edmilson, former Barcelona player.

“I am very grateful to God for being able to bring a little joy and love to this Easter. I was once a child, I had my dreams, goals, and seeing that other people cared about me was gratifying and gave me even more strength. The message for the kids is this: never give up on your dreams. Unfortunately, I couldn’t attend due to professional commitments here in Curitiba, I really wanted to be with this group, but I sent all my affection and love to all of them!” said the forward.

Diogo Oliveira joined Coritiba halfway through last season and played a total of 15 games, starting in nine of them, scoring one goal in his debut against Fluminense, and providing one assist. At the end of the year, he suffered an injury to the Achilles tendon in his right ankle and has been undergoing recovery.
