The Brazilian under 17 team draw 2-2 with Ecuador on Monday and thus qualified for the World Cup in the category. Coach Phelipe Leal’s team had not started in the best way after two goals from Ecuadorian Keny Arroyo.

After an own goal and one from Kauã Elias, Brazil was able to tiet it and keep the score. In this way, and with the tie between Venezuela and Chile, the National Team qualified in advance in the South American competition.

The final hexagonal has been categorized as very even. Brazil is tied for first place with Ecuador and Argentina with two dates to go. Brazil needs to defeat Chile on the next date so that it can head to the category title.

In any case, the last date where the favorites will collide is looked askance and there will be a South American classic when Brazil faces Argentina. In addition, depending on the results of the penultimate date, the game with Argentina could be decisive and one or the other could reach the big game with more advantage.

The U17 World Cup is still without a venue after FIFA revoked hosting Peru due to being behind in preparations for the event. Although FIFA has not expressed itself on which country is the favorite to host the youth world cup, it is hardly at South America, after yesterday it was confirmed that the U20 World Cup would be held in Argentina.
