Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Brazilian defender Eder Militão from FC Porto for a fee of £43.5m.
Militão only joined Porto from his hometown club São Paulo in August and he has been called into some of Tite’s recent Brazil squads.
The 21-year old can play at centre-half, right back or in defensive midfield and he will officially become a Madrid player on July 1 st .
A statement on the club website read: “Real Madrid CF and FC Porto have agreed the transfer of the player Éder Militão, who will be linked to the club during the next six seasons, until June 30, 2025.”
Real this week re-appointed former manager Zinedine Zidane, who initially left the club last summer, after a poor season in which they exited the Champions League at the Round of 16 and currently sit 4 th in La Liga.
