7 Brazilians in FIFPRO XI Shortlist

The FIFA FIFPRO World XI shortlist has been announced and there are a total of 7 Brazilian players in the 55 strong shortlist. World Players’ Union FIFPro asked 25,000 professional players to pick a 4-3-3 line-up based on last season’s performances.

The seven Brazilians nominated are Dani Alves (PSG), Thiago Silva (PSG), Marcelo (Real Madrid), Casemiro (Real Madrid), David Luiz (Chelsea), Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool) and Neymar (PSG).

The top 2016/17 World XI will be announced at the ‘Best FIFA Football Awards’ ceremony in London on October 23. Only Spain are better presented on the list, with 9 players nominated. 7 French players also make the list.
