Gabriel has completed his transfer from Arsenal to La Liga side Valencia, with the formalities on a £10m deal completed on Friday. Gabriel joined the London club from Villarreal in January 2015 and he won 2 FA Cups with the Gunners.
With a first team squad of 33 players, Arsene Wenger needs to trim his roster and the club decided to accept a bid from Valencia last week. The player flew in for a medical on Thursday and completed the agreement.
A statement on Valencia’s website read, ““Valencia have reached an agreement with Arsenal for the transfer of Gabriel Paulista.
“The Brazilian player has signed for the next five seasons until June 30, 2022, with a termination clause of 80 million euros.”
