French newspaper L’Equipe is reporting that Paris Saint Germain will have to pay in the region of €90m if they want to prize Philippe Coutinho away from Liverpool.

The monied Ligue 1 club are apparently eyeing up Coutinho as a replacement for Barcelona target Marco Verratti. However, the Brazilian will cost top dollar according to the French sports publication.

Liverpool will also insist that the player is not sold until a replacement has been identified and secured. PSG are apparently also in the market for Borussia Dortmund’s Ousmane Dembele, but feel a move for Coutinho is more likely.

Coutinho is currently in Rio where he watched his old side Vasco da Gama lose 1-0 to bitter rivals Flamengo at the San Januario. The game was marred by regrettable scenes at the end of the match, when Vasco supporters threw smoke bombs onto the pitch and clashed with police.
