Santos forward Gabigol, who was believed to be on the verge of signing for Italian champions Juventus, seems like he"s heading to Inter Milan.
According to Globo Esporte, Inter Milan"s representative Piero Ausilio presented a proposal of €25 million during a meeting on Monday to sign the striker from Santos. The meeting also had the presence of Gabigol"s father Valdemír Silva, agent Wagner Ribeiro, and Giuliano Bertolucci, who has been authorized by Inter Milan to discuss the transaction in Brazil. The offer from Inter Milan is appealing to the representatives of Gabigol, unlike the proposal [€20 million] of Juventus. Santos are contractually obliged to accept if there"s an offer of €18 million, and the player would receive €7 million if he accepts to go to Inter. The deal also includes monthly wages of over €270,000 and bonuses for goals achieved. Santos are yet to be notified but they do not have the power to prevent a sale, since the exit clause was triggered. Valdemír Silva and Wagner Ribeiro have promised to talk to Gabigol to give an answer to Inter soon.
