After being one of the main players of the club last season, Diego Costa has failed to repeat the good performance in the current campaign and is considering leaving Chelsea.
Italian coach Antonio Conte will take charge at Stamford Bridge from next season, but despite his desire to keep the Brazilian-born striker at the club, Costa was considering a return to Atlético Madrid where he played prior to the arrival in England. The club have shown interest in bringing back the player, but may be put off by the high value demanded by the Blues. If the Spaniards do not have the financial means to sign the attacker, a Chinese side certainly can, as they’ve shown in the January transfer window. According to reports in England, a Chinese club have already signaled an interest in submitting a proposal £70 million for Diego Costa. If Diego Costa devides to accept the proposal from China, he will also have a substantial salary increase.
