Brazilian national team coach Dunga and coordinator Gilmar Rinaldi will travel to Europe on Sunday for a series of conversations with clubs over the release of some players for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro this year.
The priorities of the coach includes trying and reaching an agreement with Barcelona, so that he can count on Neymar as one of the players over the age of 23 in the competition. Neymar has already expressed a desire to play the Olympics and Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has signaled that the club would accept to release him. Dunga said: “We will talk to the clubs and players to reach a common denominator so that no one is harmed. We will talk with Barcelona and also with other teams for players above 23, so that it’s good for both parties. It is important the player wants to be in the national team, to play an important competition, to make history, and to be a winner.”
