Brazil have named their Olympic U-23 squad for a pair of friendlies against the USA in November. The first game will take place in Recife’s Estádio Ilha do Retiro on 11th November, with the second match at the Estádio Mangueirão in Belem. The squad was selected by Dunga, in partnership with the U-20 coach Rogerio Micale and his assistant Andrey Lopes.
Seleção Olímpica secured a 6-0 win over the Dominican Republic and a 5-0 win over Haiti earlier this month. There are few surprises in the squad, with highly rated trio Valdivia of Inter, Gabigol of Santos and Gabriel Jesus of Palmeiras the main players, with Lucas Silva and Fred in midfield. Chelsea’s Kenedy is the only British based player.
