Rivaldo decided last week to retire from his career again with Mogi Mirim at the grand old age of 43 years. His departure could be followed by that of his son, Rivaldinho, whose contract expired yesterday and which has not yet been extended. There will be no members of the family Rivaldo present on the teamsheet in tonight’s game against Criciuma.

Scorer of six goals this season with the Paulista club, Rivaldinho could be moving on the pastures new in the coming days, leaving the club where he has played since 2008.
