Brazil forward did not take part in Thursday"s training session, raising concerns over his fitness ahead of Copa América 2015.
He pulled out of practice at Granja Comary on Wednesday complaining of pain in his right knee and left the field accompanied by doctor Rodrigo Lasmar. The Brazilian Football Confederation have subsequently revealed that the striker underwent a scan the following morning to discover the extent of the issue. An official statement said: “Under the assistance of the doctor of the Brazilian national team, Rodrigo Lasmar, striker Robinho had an MRI scan on his right knee early on Thursday. Robinho will not participate in training today [Thursday] and continues with treatment for his recovery."
