The Chelsea midfielder insists the Seleção have evolved other parts of the game since coach Dunga’s arrival.
Chelsea midfielder Willian had to make do for a role on Felipão’s bench during the World Cup last year, but has since graduated to a mainstay of the side and he is convinced the Seleção have evolved under Dunga. He told SporTV: “We have seen enough in the few games Brazil have played since the World Cup. We are gelling more and more. Dunga arrived with his own way of working, with a very different approach to training. Today, the Seleção can play with the ball and without the ball, which is very important. We all know our position and the shape of the team. I’m feeling very confident. I owe that to the coach who put all his confidence in me. I’m now feeling relaxed in the squad and I’m in top shape.”
