Barcelona star Neymar says his Real Madrid rival Gareth Bale must learn to live with the criticism he has been receiving regarding his form this season.
While Neymar starred in Barcelona’s Champions League win over Bayern Munich on Wednesday, Bale was slammed for his anonymous performance as Real were beaten by Juventus a day earlier.
Asked about Bale, the Brazilian responded: “Criticism and pressure is something very usual in football.
‘We all face it from time to time. You have to learn live with it.
“What isn’t in doubt is that Gareth Bale is a great player.”
Neymar also professed his admiration for the Premier League, whilst affirming that he has no plans to leave the Nou Camp for the foreseeable future.
“It’s a league I love to watch,” he said. “There are great teams and great players but I’m very comfortable at Barcelona and I love watching the Spanish league too.”
