Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel has admitted that he finds it uncomfortable facing off with Chelsea forward Diego Costa, ahead of the two sides’ Premier League clash on Sunday.
The two players have been involved in a number of incidents so far this season, including a stamp on Skrtel by the Brazilian forward during the clubs’ League Cup semi-final tie.
“I don’t want to say he’s a pain to play against, but he’s not comfortable,” Skrtel told Match of the Day magazine.
“He runs a lot and likes the physical side of the game.
“You have to face him and deal with that. I’ve enjoyed our games and maybe he has as well.”
