Former Liverpool player John Arne Riise has been the letest to show his admiration for Philippe Coutinho’s form this season.
34 year old Riise played for Liverpool from 2001-2008 and won the Champions League during his time at the club.
“Philippe Coutinho has been unbelievable,” Riise told the Echo. “He creates chances and has scored some stunning goals.”
Latest stats show that Coutinho has created 24 chances in 2015 which is fifth in the league. Only the likes of Eden Hazard and David Silva have created more.
Coutinho will be key for Liverpool as they go into two huge games against Manchester United in the League and Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup.
