The Brazilian attacking-midfielder has been on scintillating form this season for Lazio and a lot of clubs are following his progress.

Liverpool looks set to miss out on the signing of Lazio midfielder Felipe Anderson as he is likely to sign a new contract with the Serie A club later this week. As mentioned in talkSport, reports in Italy have said Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers was keen on acquiring the 21-year-old to pair him with Philippe Coutinho. The report says that despite Anderson’s contract extension only keeping him at Lazio one more year, from 2018 to 2019, it will increase his pay packet by a sizeable amount. Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid are the other clubs monitoring the youngster who was bought from Santos.
