Shandong Luneng coach Cuca thinks Tardelli"s transfer to the Chinese club can happen soon.
Cuca was the coach of Atlético Mineiro when they won the Copa Libertadores with the likes of Tardelli, Bernard and Ronaldinho. He was quoted in Globo Esporte: “Yes, there was interest from Shandong and Guangzhou. Tardelli is wanting to leave Atlético-MG, talked to Daniel [Atlético-MG president] that him not leaving would be harming the club but on the contrary, will help, because of the money. I have interest in Tardelli. A transfer is likely to occur soon." As officially confirmed by Atlético-MG director Eduardo Maluf, they received an offer from Shandong Luneng but has sent a counter proposal to which the Chinese club are yet to respond.
