Kaka has admitted he is incredibly happy to be back in the Brazil squad after Dunga decided he would replace Cruzeiro midfielder Ricardo Goulart in the squad.

Goulart picked up an injury so is forced to miss Brazil’s matches against Argentina and Japan on October 11 and October 14 respectively.

Dunga hinted that the former AC Milan playmaker could be in line for a recall and has stayed true to his word.

Daily Mail quoted Kaka after his national team selection, he said: “I’m incredibly happy to be back.

“After a long time away from the national team, this comes as a reward for the work that I have been doing.”

The 32-year-old believes his recall shows his form with current club Sao Paulo has been good and he hopes he can use his experience to help the national team.

Kaka added: “It shows that I’ve been doing something good.

“I hope I can add a lot to the national team with my experience. I think I can help.”
