Former Juventus forward Alessandro Del Piero has insisted he will continue to play.
The veteran, who is set to line up for the A-League all-stars when they face the Bianconeri on Saturday, is adamant that tie will not be is last game.
“No, I don’t think so,” he said, as reported by FIFA.com.
“It could be my last game in Australia, but I’m still in touch with the (Australian) federation and Sydney FC as well. I’m happy to be here and hope to stay in touch in the future.”
Del Piero was previously strongly linked with a move to Flamengo when he first left Juventus in 2012 and he perhaps could be targeted by them again, as they look to regroup after a difficult start to the 2014 Brasileirão.
