Palmeiras midfielder Jorge Valdivia is set to complete a move away from the club after it was revealed that Al Fujairah are willing to pay €7.5 million for the Chilean playmaker.

The club from the United Arab Emirates are keen to snap up Valdivia as soon as possible and, having just returned from helping an impressive Chile side almost knock ot hosts Brazil in the World Cup second round, the player could have played his last game for Palmeiras.

Valdivia did not train on Monday in order to complete some of the paperwork needed to confirm the move, and will leave a club he has played for for six years in total.

Valdivia joined Palmeiras in 2006 and left to join Al Ain two years later, before returning to help the club gain promotion back into the top flight of Brazilian football last year.
