Former Brazil national manager Dunga has given his support to incumbent Luiz Felipe Scolari’s ability to win the World Cup and give the country their sixth global title.

The man who led Selecao in South Africa four years ago told AS: “Scolari won championships, knows how to work with the team, is an experienced coach and knows what’s at hand.”

“I believe that Scolari will ‘Hexacampeao’ with Brazil.”

The literal translation of that term means ‘champions six times’ and is starting to get banded around in the same manner as Spanish team Real Madrid did with the expression ‘La Decima’ when they recently won their tenth Champions League.

The next sep towards Hexacampeao for Scolari and his men is Friday’s Quarter Final with continental rivals Colombia in what will be the hosts’ toughest test so far in the competition.

Under Dunga, Brazil lost at the same stage of the 2010 tournament to Netherlands.
