Yahoo Sport report that Brazil attacker Neymar could face a FIFA investigation after showing the waistband of his underpants following the conclusion of the Cameroon match on Monday.

The Brazilian swapped shirts after the final Group A game and briefly revealed underpants that were made by non-FIFA sponsors.

UOL believe that FIFA will look into the incident and may end up fining the Barcelona ace for showing the waistband of his underpants.

A similar incident occurred in Euro 2012 involving Denmark’s Nicklas Bendtner who was fined €100,000 by UEFA after showing the waistband of his underpants after scoring.

The underpants were made by betting firm Paddy Power and landed the former Arsenal forward in big trouble.

Although Neymar’s brief showing of his waistband underpants appeared accidental, the former Santos star has previous.

A similar situation occurred during a Champions League match with Barcelona last season but the Brazilian’s press agents denied it was an intentional marketing strategy.

Although FIFA have other issues to deal with, like the biting incident involving Uruguay’s Luis Suárez, it seems they’ll still find the time to investigate whether the Brazil forward deserves a fine or not.
