Atlético Madrid defender Filipe Luís is only thinking about continuing with his current club and not a move to Chelsea now the 2013/14 club season is over.

The Brazilian left back has been linked with a switch to the Premier League and to the west London side, where the Blues host a number of samba stars already.

However, in an interview with O Globo, the 28-year-old revealed his intentions for next season.

Sky Sports quoted Filipe Luís, he said: “I have a contract for three more years. My thought is to continue.”

The overriding feeling for the Brazilian at the moment is disappointment after his team came so close to adding the Champions League to the La Liga title they won this season.

Filipe Luís insists that the club should have their heads held high and will now be focusing on the next challenge for next season.

He added: “We have to lift our heads high after the Champions League final defeat and think about the next goal.”
