Internazionale midfielder Hernanes is trying not to be distracted by the World Cup.
The 28 year-old is in contention for a place in Brazil Head Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari’s squad, but insists he will only start thinking about the tournament if he is selected.
“The World Cup? I would prefer to wait until I get called up to the squad before thinking about the tournament,” he told LanceNetper. “At the moment I’m just thinking about Inter.”
Hernanes, who joined Inter from Lazio in January, has been capped 23 times by Brazil and was part of the side that won the Confederations Cup last summer.
