Benfica forward Lima is aware of how significant his winning goal against Juventus could be.

The 30 year-old netted in the closing moments of a tight contest to give Benfica a 2-1 lead to take to Turin for the second leg of their Europa League semi-final.

“I’m very happy to help the team once again,” he told UEFA.com. “It was a difficult match against a great team and my goal was important. Once again we won at home and showed the strength of our squad.”

The win ensures Benfica remain on course to secure a historic treble. Having already won the Primiera Liga title, Jorge Jesus’ side are also in the Taça de Portugal final, where they will face Rio Ave.
