David Luiz has taken to social media to praise his Chelsea teammate Willian after the attacking midfielder scored the last goal from distance in their side’s comfotable 3-0 win against Stoke on Saturday evening.
Willian has been talked about in a positive light by Blues manager Jose Mourinho in recent weeks and Luiz has joined the club, posting as he did on his official twitter account: “What a goal @willianborges88 and also “Man of the Match”! I’m so proud of you, congratulations my friend!”
Willian, who moved to Stamford bridge at the start of the current campaign, has become an important starter for Mourinho’s men after a settling in period and will now be hoping to secure a similar role in Luiz Felipe Scolari’s World Cup plan of attack.
