Tottenham Hotspur and Paulinho face Liverpool again in the Premier League this weekend with the wounds of the previous meeting back in December still fresh in the memory.

Paulinho was given his marching orders for a high tackle and Spurs went on to lose 5-0 at White Hart Lane to the Reds in a terrible day for the north London club.

The Brazilian should be involved in the Anfield clash and he has told the club’s official website about his aim to help Tottenham achieve another three points.

Paulinho said: “This is a good game for us after the result against Southampton and now we have the chance to do well against Liverpool.

“I didn’t think it was a red card at the time. I’ve forgotten about it, we didn’t play well, we lost. Now we have another chance.

“We have to forget about that game. We have a chance to go there, play well and hopefully come back with a good result. We know it will be difficult, but we have a chance.

“We have seven games to go, we’re trying to finish as high as possible and we have to try to win this game.”

Spurs still harbor slim hopes of obtaining a top-four finish but a win this weekend against Liverpool is imperative if they are to achieve that season aim.
