Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuaín has praised the performance of Porto goalkeeper Fabiano in their Europa League last 16 tie.
The Brazilian stopper may a series of key saves, before late goals from Ricardo Quaresma and Nabil Ghilas swung the game in Porto’s favour.
Higuaín felt that Napoli deserved to progress and admits he was left frustrated by Fabiano"s showing.
"We would have deserved to go through," he told UEFA.com. "We played a great game, creating plenty of chances, but their goalkeeper [Fabiano] was excellent.
"We were unlucky all along in Europe this year, with the way we also went out of the Champions League despite getting so many points. Maybe we deserved more today."
