Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has scotched suggestions that he could be on his way out of Italy in a transfer to Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid either prior to, or after, this summer’s World Cup tournament.

The Chilean is expected to be one of South America’s biggest talents on show in Brazil from June and has enjoyed a stellar season in Turin thus far. Vidal joined Juve from Leverkusen for €10.5 million in 2011 and has gone on to star for them in both Seri A and the Champions league.

“Real Madrid or Barcelona? This is ridiculous. All I want is to win the championship with Juventus and make a good world Cup.”

Vidal’s Chile, who are in Group B alongside Australia, Spain and Netherlands, could easily face hosts Brazil in the second round as the Selecao are of course in Group A.
