Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has perhaps predictably stoked the fires ahead of their meeting against Manchester City- in a game that could feature up to as many as five Brazilian players.

Ahead of the February 3rd showdown, Mourinho has respnded to Spurs manager Tim Sherwood’s claims that City are the best team in the world by quipping: “Maybe for the Tottenham manager, England is the planet.”

“Let’s see the quality of City in the Champions League.”

With Manchester City due to face Spanish giants Barcelona in the next round of said competition, Mourinho was attempting to lump some pressure on fellow former Real Madrid boss Mauricio Pellegrini ahead of a crucial Premier League encounter on Monday- a match that could see City go six points clear of their London rivals.

David Luiz, Ramires, Oscar, Willian and Fernandinho could all be lining up in the game at the Etihad.
