Barcelona are interested in signing Valencia goalkeeper Diego Alves, according to reports.

With Víctor Valdés set to depart in the summer, the Catalan giants are in need of a new stopper.

Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Marc-André ter Stegen is widely believed to have already signed for the club, but Mundo Deportivo believes a more experienced goalkeeper will also arrive to help ease in the 21 year-old.

The newspaper claims Alves is seriously being considered, as is Espanyol’s Kiko Casilla, Chile international Claudio Bravo and Miguel Ángel Moyà, who is owned by Getafe.
