Sivasspor manager Roberto Carlos insists football should be kept simple.
The 40 year-old, who took charge of the Spor Toto Süper Lig side over the summer, believes having a desire to win is the most important aspect for any successful side.
“Football is a simple thing and system-wise there’s not much to create,” he told uefa.com. “You just walk out onto the pitch and show a desire to win.
“Certainly, the coach has to have a philosophy and the players need to reflect this on the field with their own qualities.
“My philosophy is winning, winning and winning. My entire career was like this and I want to bring the same to Sivasspor.”
Roberto Carlos has made a good start in his first managerial role. Sivasspor are currently 4th in the Spor Toto Süper Lig, just four points adrift of a UEFA Champions League berth.
