Jorginho insists Hellas Verona will not get carried away with their excellent start to the season.
The newly-promoted side are 6th in Serie A. Sunday’s 4-1 win at Bologna stretched their unbeaten run to three matches, while only Roma and Juventus have beaten the Gialloblu.
“Nobody expected such a beginning,” the 21 year-old told Sport Italia, as reported by Football Italia.
“We are living a dream right now.
“However, we are only talking about survival here. For that reason, we have to keep training as we have done so far.”
Jorginho has been heavily influential in Verona’s early success. The Imbituba native, who may represent Italy at international level, has started seven matches, scoring three goals.
