Brazil’s national team coordinator Carlos Alberto Parreira believes that Atlético Mineiro can win Copa Libertadores.

Olimpia won the first leg 2-0 in Asunción, forcing Atlético Mineiro to score at least two goals to take the game to extra-time.

Parreira talked with Fox Sports Brasil about the final, he said: “Galo are technically stronger, they could have tied the first game, from what I saw from the first to the last minute. They have done it before against Newell’s, it’s not impossible.”

The 1994 World Cup manager believes Atlético Mineiro have luck on their side, he added: “I think the universe has been conspiring in Atlético Mineiro’s favor since that game against Tijuana, when Victor saved a penalty, besides Guilherme’s gosl against Newell’s. So I believe they can.”

The match will be played at the Mineirão Stadium Wednesday night, Atlético Mineiro have never won the competition, while Olimpia have won it three times,
