CBF president José Maria Marin has revealed that Under-20 coach Alexandre Gallo could replace Luiz Felipe Scolari after the World Cup.

Gallo is the manager of Brazil"s under 20 national team and recently won the prestigious Toulon Tournament in France.

José Maria Marin told O Globo: “Scolari will stay regardless of any result, but if he has an offer and decides to leave, Gallo is my candidate [to replace him].

“I want to have Gallo and Parreira, but if Scolari stays, then it will be Scolari and Parreira. I don"t want to change anything, but if Scolari decides to leave in the future, then Gallo will be the national team manager."

Marin also praised Gallo, adding: “He had offers from big clubs, but he is committed to remain with us until the Olympics.

“I intend to make a committee or counciil, Scolari wouldn"t be the manager, but he would help Gallo the same say Gallo is helping him, but Gallo would be in charge."
