Napoli have completed the €5 million transfer of goalkeeper Rafael from Santos.
The Brazilian will now leave the Brasileirão to join Rafael Benitez’s side in Serie A after a medical was completed earlier this week.
Rafael was delighted with the move but says he will come back to Santos one day and end his career with the Peixe.
“I always thought I would finish my career here at Santos,” he told reporters. “But with the passage of time I realized that I wanted to play in Europe and in the Champions League.
“But that does not mean that one day I will come back and finish my career at Santos.”
